See which behaviors are linked to churn in your app.
Churn Correlations ranks the behaviors most linked to churn, built from the event data you already send. Pick a churn window, get your ranked churn drivers, and act before the window closes. No new instrumentation, no setup.
From churn you see after, to churn you can act on.
Churn analysis used to be retrospective: you saw who left after they were gone. Churn Correlations reads your existing Localytics SDK data and surfaces churn drivers, the events whose absence correlates with churn. Each driver reads in plain language, for example: users who never completed onboarding are 1.7x more likely to churn within 30 days, affecting 41% of your users. It lives under Analytics, next to the reports you already use.
Use it in two easy steps.
Pick your churn window
Choose what churn means for your app: 14, 30, or 60 days of inactivity. 30 days is the default.
Review your ranked drivers
Each driver shows the event, how much more likely non-performers are to churn, a confidence level, the share of users affected, and the sample size.
Honest numbers you can weigh yourself.
Correlation is the claim, and the name says so on purpose. A high-ranking event, even a Localytics push event, tells you whose churn it tracks with, not why they churn. Every driver carries a confidence level and a sample size next to the multiplier, so you know how much weight to put on it before you build a campaign around it. A behavior only appears when users who skip it are at least 1.2x more likely to churn and at least 30 users are affected, and you see up to 20 drivers per window. The analysis reads the last 90 days of activity, so dormant users past that point are left out. Rankings refresh daily. Details and current limits are in the help doc.
Each driver is a campaign waiting to be run.
If users who never complete onboarding are 1.7x more likely to churn, the play writes itself: segment the users missing the event, then run a campaign that gets them to do it. Your Customer Success Manager (CSM) can help you turn your top driver into a first campaign.
