What You'll Do
Operational Excellence
- Operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments across multi-cloud ecosystems
- Implement automation-first practices to reduce manual work and increase reliability
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement cost-optimization strategies
AI-Forward Platform Work
- Build and deploy AI agents that extend platform capabilities, such as SRE agents for alert triaging, CD agents for pipeline validation, and on-call copilots to reduce mean time to resolution
- Leverage AI coding assistants to generate boilerplate, review infrastructure code, draft runbooks, and iterate on automation scripts
- Unlock an agentic SDLC by embedding AI agents across the software delivery lifecycle
Collaboration & Culture
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and security teams to align platform best practices with organizational goals
- Champion a DevSecOps culture, embedding security throughout the development lifecycle
Capabilities You Bring
Professional Background
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation
Programming & AI
- Experience analyzing and writing code in Golang, Java, or Python
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) to move faster
Cloud Infrastructure
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, including provisioning, scaling, and cost optimization
Orchestration & CI/CD
- Skilled in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and Kubernetes
Observability & Reliability
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response tools such as CloudWatch, Signoz, or ELK
- Working knowledge of SLI/SLO frameworks: defining, instrumenting, and maintaining service-level indicators and objectives across production systems
Security
- Knowledge of security best practices, including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and compliance frameworks
Nice to Have
- Proven experience configuring, administering, and optimizing Snowflake data warehouses or data lakes on S3
- Experience building or operating SRE copilot tooling for AI-assisted alerting triage and incident summarization
- Experience building or operating CD copilot tooling for deployment risk scoring and release summarization
